The school library at Saint Michael the Archangel has a catalogue of over 11,000 books. These books are housed in the three libraries, pre-K to 3rd, 4th to 8th and the research room. The Sagebrush computer program enables the library to catalogue these books, their status, as well as fines owed and by whom. All of the students have a weekly library period. During this time they not only take out books but are taught Library Science, how to research a project as well as correctly document it through the use of a bibliography. . The library has two computers for the students to use for research. They both have encyclopedias in them and one has the book catalogue. The library relies on the semiannual Scholastic Book Fairs and collects the Campbell’s Labels for Education for the majority of its funding. The funds raised are used to buy new books and supplies.
The music program at Saint Michael the Archangel consists of each grade having one general music class a week. During music class all grades sing a variety of music.
