SCHOOL ADMISSION
 

Our School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to its students. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, its admission policy, or in any school-administered program.

The School endeavors to accommodate students with special needs, as the School's resources and capabilities reasonably permit. The School reserves the right to decline admission or impose reasonable conditions of attendance where indicated under the circumstances.

To be admitted to first grade a student must be six by September 1st of the current year. For admission to Kindergarten, a child must be five by September 1st. The necessary forms and certificates for admission that must be present at the time of registration are:

a. Birth Certificate.
b. Baptismal certificate (regardless of home parish).
c. A certificate of immunization that must be updated and available for confirmation.
d. $100.00 Non-Refundable registration fee.    

REGISTRATION:
Registration for kindergarten students and other students new to our school will be Feb. 25th. This registration is only for new students. Registration information is communicated through the school communication envelope and the parish bulletin.

RE-REGISTRATION:
 Re-registration forms for current students in grades kindergarten through grade 7 will be mailed to their homes in early March.
There is a $100.00 re-registration fee due by April 9, 2010. The fee for re-registration after April 9, 2010 is $125.00.  All re-registration must be completed by May 1, 2010. 

ADMISSION OF NON-CATHOLICS
Our school serves a variety of purposes, including the academic, social and physical development of students. However, the primary purpose of our school is religious. We exist for the purpose of evangelization and catechesis, that is, the proclamation of the Gospel and the formation of the entire school community of Faith. Our school offers a complete Catholic religious education program and makes every effort to develop the Faith in all the students so that they may live a full Christian life.

Non-Catholic students may be admitted to our school under the following conditions:

a. The permission of the Pastor is obtained.
b. Adequate facilities and space are available, without denying the admission of eligible Catholic students.
c. The parents/guardians agree in writing to permit their child(ren) to attend Religion classes and Religious functions that are offered as part of the school program.
d. The parents/guardians commit themselves in writing to accept and promote the philosophy, goals, objectives, and regulations of our school.
e. The parents/guardians agree in writing to assume responsibility for all the financial obligations.

There will be no increase in the registration fee and all discounts will continue.

Families with a child/children in grades 1-8, deduct $50.00 from 1/2 day kindergarten rate or $100.00 from full-day kindergarten rate. There is a $50.00 deduction for early payment of school tuition (Kinder-Grade 8) if paid in full by August 20, 2010.  This discount does not apply to Pre-School. 

Our school provides quality Catholic education through the efforts of our parish priests, faculty, staff, Home and School, volunteers, parish community, and most of all, through the many sacrifices made by the parents/guardians of the children enrolled here.

Tuition is determined in February for the following school year. The School also may impose fees for other items, such as extracurricular activities, field trips, technology, and registration. This information is communicated to the school parents/guardians through the communication envelope.

In justice to all the parents and the parish community, parents are expected to keep tuition payments up to date. Both parents are jointly responsible for tuition and other fees charged by the School. The Pastor and Administration review the tuition records on a monthly basis. The student report card will not be released if the tuition account has an outstanding balance, unless the parent has met and made suitable arrangements with the Pastor.  In addition, the Pastor reserves the right to take further action, up to including dismissal and withholding of school records, if tuition payments are not made in a timely manner.


REFUNDS:
Please note that since the school holds open a place for your child/children once you register, the parish has incurred an expense doing this.  Since a space is “held” then others who would apply for it can be turned away.  Also, books, etc. are purchased based on the registration numbers.

For students withdrawn after September 30, for any reason, - NO Refunds will be made - NO adjustments will be made in tuition.

The $7.00 per week, in collection, per family also remains in effect.
