8:30Prayers with the whole school in the gym.

8:45  Unpack, morning routine with prayer, chants, pledge, calendar and circle time

9-9:30 Religion

9:30-10:00 ILA, Reading, phonics content and instruction      

10:00-10:30  Bathroom and snack/morning recess

10:30-11:00 Math content and instruction

11:00-11:20 Science, social studies/Art

11:30-more phonics, reading, sight words etc.

11:45-1:00 Lunch, recess and Quiet time-We will eat lunch at 11:45.

1:00-2:00 Enrichment of morning curriculum, through centers and extension activities

2:00 bathroom and afternoon recess, indoor play

2:20 -2:35 Recap of day, music and movement , Friday weekly meetings with me to discuss how the week progressed.

2:35 Pack up, story time

The above is a framework but in Kindergarten all subject areas are highly integrated and covered at various times throughout the day.  Oral activities and dictation, art, music and poetry are a big part of each day as well.  Pretty much, we have fun all day while we are learning.
